Chest Guard
The advanced Olympic-style chest guard provides outstanding protection for the ribs and kidneys. It is reversible blue and red.
Cup and Supporter
The cup and supporter provide groin protection for males during sparring and grappling. It is required (not optional) for both activities.
Fist and Forearm Guard
The standard fist and forearm guard provides protection for the outside of the forearm when blocking as well as for the top and front of the fist.
This style arm protector is not allowed in AAU competitions. Competition team members should purchase the advanced forearm guards from www.teamkusa.com
Helmet
The dipped foam helmet provides maximum protection for the head during sparring. Comes in white, blue, or red.
Mouthpiece
The mouthpiece provides protection for the jaw and teeth during sparring and grappling. It is required (not optional) for both activities.
Shin and Instep Protector
The advanced shin and instep guard provides outstanding protection for the top of the foot (instep) as well as the shin. It is recommended that students who have the old-style cloth protectors upgrade to this new style for safety.
Sparring Gear Package
All students are eligible to start sparring at yellow belt and beyond. Students must begin sparring at exams at green belt. The sooner you start, the easier it is to learn. This is a complete package and will usually last you until Black Belt.
